PyLOSt Clean Installation issue
Hi all,
First I'd like to thank you for adding me in the PyLOSt repository!
I've created a separate Python 3.6 enviroment just for PyLOSt and I've run the command:
pip install git+https://gitlab.esrf.fr/moonpics_stitching_2018/PyLOSt.git
to install its dependencies.
However, when I try to run the SG_gui.py file it gives an ImportError
regarding matplotlib in the following file:
PyLOSt/stitch_algorithms/util/util_functions.py
It can't import the hold
method from matplotlib.
From what I have searched this method has been deprecated since version 2.0 of matplotlib (and assumes hold(True)
all the time now) and was removed afterwards (when I've run the command to install the dependencies from PyLOSt it installed the most recent version of matplotlib - 3.1.1).
I've commentted it out (there was only one plot that was using it) and PyLOSt started successfully but I didn't test it further.
Best Regards,
Murilo
