Discussion about .position
I don't like the fact that .position of an axis is not read only but that it can be used to set the position in the user coordinate system. To me this is not intuitive. The first time I played with bliss I actually thought AXIS.position = VALUE
was a way to relay move the motor.
As Frederico (ID10) pointed out in the feedback meeting setting the position might be a 'dangerous' thing during an experiment as one might looses alignment through that.
I would really prefer to have a AXIS.set(VALUE)
method and AXIS.position
being read-only.
Any opinion on that @sebastien.petitdemange ,@matias.guijarro , @pguillou ?
