Discussion about autofilter
Which logic(s) do we want to support for automatic filter changes?
Current ideas are:
- add possibility of recount (basically old autof logic), which means the total length of a scan is no longer defined
- determine the filter value for a subsequent point in a scan based on the current one (lima-filter-plugin logic used on ID03, compatible with continuous scans, but comes on the cost to loose data for some points)
- separate a step scan in segments that raise if a filter change is needed and prepare the next scan segment. At the end all segments are to be bundled into one scan in the hdf5
