Camel to snake case updates for latest local changes

Dear all,

So first at all, please, don't be scared of by the somewhat wild commit history :). This is the result of merging the camel to snake case work done during the autumn with on our local changes that we had not yet pushed.

In the commits you will find mostly ESRF specific hardware objects and camel to snake case changes. We thought it would be better to push these changes before we re-organise the module again.
