Updates to interface and functionality for SEU-2B
We would like to propose refinements to the interface for SEU-2B.
Change the current first page to a landing page with 4 standard chip types + a custom collect tab. Each tab should allow something different:
- Standard gel chip will have predefined well positions that should be as simple as click and scan, much like the SC data collection. Will probably need to implement some sort of quick check of well positions using the beam to double check. No need for pump controls for this type. Jerome is working on new 'mesh_collect' scan type and processing that should be incorporated here instead of using HPLC_collect. This will then be sent to data portal for user download. Would be nice to have camera view in BSX3 to be able to watch scan collection. Currently been using amesh in BLISS for this.
- Standard flow channel will have predefined channel position. Again a quick scan function for the channel position would be good prior to data collection. Should then be as easy as defining sample name, inputting desired flow rate and pressing collect. Single point collects using ascan here should work.
- Slow/fast mixing chips. Mixing channels will have consistent position on the chip. As with standard flow channel, should be able to input sample name, flow rates etc, but would be cool her to calculate the 'time' at each data collection point based on position vs flow rate. ascan should work for this, or maybe pointscan/lookupscan would be better?.
- Custom collect/expert collect. This should allow full control of the piezos and pumps as is already present. This would be for custom chips/users who bring their own chips. Would be really good to have camera view with ability to drag a box over the area to be scanned, like mesh scans currently implemented on MX beamlines.
