nexus: clean mangement of the 'name'

seems a bit strange at the time. Load should probably be a stack and the path should only be determine when the 'data_path' is provided and not melting name and data_path. The latest is more advanced but less used ans confusing, able to add errors.

name should be deprecated of course before being fully remove
