Support for ID16 EDF datasets
Asked by @cloetens
Some datasets acquired at ID16 with holo-tomo phase retrieval end up with the following properties:
- The directory name does not always have the same prefix as the radios to use (which is an important requirement of
tomoscan
) - Some EDF files in the folder have an "invalid" suffix. For example, if the files are to be in the form
my_scan_XXXX.edf
, there can be some files namedmy_scan_XXXX_0001.edf
(those are usually the four distances used to build the final aligned phase maps). See this issue. - There are several different prefixes in the same folder, corresponding to different scans. For example, if the folder is
/path/to/myscan_
, then the radios to use must have the formmyscan_XXXX.edf
. Sometimes other radios are there, for examplemyscan2_XXXX.edf
.
The situation (2) must be avoided.
To workaround (1) and (3), the simplest is to use symbolic links.
