The problem is that the right button to edit are not visible any more. The page can be scrooled horizontally but it is a pain.

Somehow the pre has to fit inside its container when it becomes larger than it. This problem can occur on user comment in case the user inserts a pre (ie copy some html) inside the editor. But it will also occur on notifications if they are too long.
