As a user I want the format of messages sent to the logbook from the acquisition side to be preserved

On SPEC, for example, users are used to see the following kind of command output on a terminal image

At the moment, this results in the following message in the logbook image

It is clear that the format is lost which makes the readability of this log close to zero.
