Issue self absorption ?
@suuronen has an issue when try to run reconstruction from a fluorescence sinogram of Hf L. It seems self absorption is underestimated.
Has issue can have several origin, a set of case reconstruction have been run with half acquisition or not, with or without absorption and with or without self absorption. Absorption and self absorption are the one for Hf L at 17.5 kev for absorption and 7.9 kev for self attenuation
- case 1: (original case): with absorption and self attenuation in half acquisition
- case 2: with absorption and self attenuation in full acquisition
- case 3: half acq without self attenuation
- case 4: half acq without absorption
- case 5: full acquisition without absorption
- case 6: original case with more projections (400). Original has 180 and full acq has 360.0
- case 7: half acq without absorption and self attenuation
- case 8: original case but instead of having an acquisition from 0 to 180, we have one from 180 to 360.
- case 9: half acquisition but with matrices of absorption and self absorption equal.
So it seems like case 1, case 4 and case 6 are not correctly reconstructed.
Here are the file of reconstructions:
