SMARACT - problems with homing and ctrl-C
working with the id01 smaract (MCS-6CC-ETHA-TAB, S/N: 2595, smaractid013), i found this danger problem: if the homing process is interrupted by a ctrl-C, the stage continue moving for ever (rotating or pushing the physical end).
the homing is made with FRM(channel),1,60000,0 , and the ctrl-C/stop with S(channel)
if instead of S(channel), we use the general stop cmd S, the issue is not dangerous, depending the direction of the homing and the initial position of the stage, it stops complete, or stops, change the direction and finish the homing.
similar problem is presented by spec with the builtin controller
it seems that it is an issue in this controller, support is analyzing it (with low priority because it is an old controller)
cntrl-C works ok in normal movements
a temporary patch to send S instead of S(channel) during homing, would avoid the dangerous issue?
