Flint is not able to display data from aborted scan
Aborting a scan result in non-aligned data channels (channel can have different size, while it have to be displayed together)
timescan only can be aborted using CTRL-C.
As result, at the end of a scan channels can not be displayed properly.
Current Flint behaviour
By default Flint align data during a scan
But when the scan stop the full data are provided to be displayed. If there is thing not aligned, it is not possible to display it anymore (while it was displayed during the scan).
If we can know the scan was aborted, we can still normalize the channel size in the end
As result some data are lost, but as it is an abort, it's fine
In normal condition, with buggy scan/device, we still could have misalignment
Add an option to normalize group of channels (kind of fallback in case of problem)
Again it will lose data, but it's a manual action, then it sounds fine.
There is still the problem for custom scans.
We could allow to provide metadata to group channels together.
